Coke Education Centres

The refurbished centre was officially opened during 2001; by 2010 it has welcomed over 20,000 visitors. The centre is managed by an experienced secondary school teacher who has taught and been involved in enterprise initiatives in South Lanarkshire for 10 years.

 

What does a typical visit involve?

Each visit can be linked to the secondary school curriculum in Scotland, including Business Studies, Computing, Product Design, Enterprise and Marketing. Visits include a curriculum based presentation and an overhead tour of the production lines. We welcome visitors from tertiary education.

How long does a typical visit take?

2 hours. We can accommodate 2 visits a day Mon, Tues, Wed.

How much does it cost?

It's free! We do not charge for educational visits.

How many students can we bring?

Open to students in Secondary 1 and above, we can accommodate up to 32 people per visit (30 students + 2 staff). Please note that we insist on there being 2 teachers regardless of the group size.

What is the availability?

We are a very popular school visit and you will usually need to book up to 6 months in advance.
